We had a very small 70-year-old house on a great lot in a great location. We loved our home, but it was becoming way too tight for our growing family. Now our addition blends with the old house so well inside you can’t tell what was added. Our master suite is a wonderful oasis, and our new deck allows us to enjoy our lot even more. I am so happy with my remodel (both kitchen and bath) and would definitely hire this group again. Roman (design) took my rough idea and came up with an amazing, functional layout, including ideas I wouldn't have even known were possible (but which are now some of my favorite features). After months of delays due to the pandemic, appliance shortages, lost contractors and contractors just not showing up....We found Solid Construction based on reviews right here on Yelp and other sites. Roman came out and was so personable. He reviewed our plans and confidently stated he could complete our kitchen remodel within our budget and timeframe. We visited the showroom, chose our items and signed the contract. We were particularly impressed with the detailed bid and very thorough communication and prep even before the job started. We were still on the tail end of Pandemic supply constraints but we got started in late August and by mid-October we had our beautiful remodeled kitchen...and we stayed on budget too. This is almost unheard of for most jobs, but the bid was so detailed and thorough we all knew exactly where the money was going and if there was a change needed it was easy to quantify. As with any construction project, there were some delays, some miscommunications and even some frustrations...but this is all normal and the Solid team was always open to feedback, changes and responded to every request with complete professionalism. Roman and the team at Solid Construction & Design did an amazing job on a very large project at our home. They built a new raised patio and gazebo in our backyard and converted our garage into a pool house with a full bathroom. We could not be happier with the finished product. The price was very competitive and the final price was almost exactly what Roman quoted us at (there was an unexpected issue in our garage floor that they could not have known about). Let me say that I am in the design business ( owner of Jen Rogers Designs) and know the " ins and outs" and what to look for in a contractor and construction- remodeling company. When it came remodeling my master bath, I came across Solid and called Oleg, the owner, one day. He was very welcoming on the phone and invited me into their showroom in Sacramento. Their showroom offers finishes, cabinetry, slabs, etc. I was very impressed and they are also family owned, which I support local businesses. Since I am in the bizz, I had my design aesthetics of what finishes I wanted and elements chosen. I had picked out my wall tile, tub, plumbery, etc,. I knew what I wanted, yet, Solid designed the vanity, sink, and handled the construction from A to Z. They are a "one stop shop". This is IMPORTANT people. The carpenters, plumbers, tile layers, etc, are all in house. Many companies are not in house. This is not advantageous to you, the client. You want all in house. Solid has a PM( Project Manager), per project. Ours was Vitaly, "Taly" and he is remarkable. As a client, you do not have to worry about various subs coming into your house to finish the next step in the project, it is always a Solid team member. With any job, there are hiccups that arise. It is the nature of construction. Solid was and has been remarkable and our master bath is beautiful. We wanted to remodel 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and laundry room. After meeting with numerous contractors, we decided to go with SOLID. During the initial consult they were professional and offered many design ideas (some that even saved money). During the build process, all of the different crew members were great. Bruce (project coordinator) called or stopped by each day with updates and to check project status. The few changes and deficiencies that happened were addressed very quickly. The outcome was spectacular. We could not be more happy with the final result! It was worth every penny. We had dreaded the whole remodel process before we started because we had heard so many nightmare stories about surprise repairs, up-charges, etc.. SOLID made it as painless as it could be. We even came in lower than their original quote!

We wanted our old tile counters and sink removed and replaced with granite and stainless steel sink and new faucet. We were so pleased with his expertise, demeanor and kindnes. Our contractor was Vitaliy, and he was great, and everything moved very swiftly with few pauses in our big remodel and any problems were corrected right away. Loved that they worked with me as we went along, in real time, being flexible to changes. This was the first time I did a remodel, and I had a lot of decisions to make. Roman and team went step by step, and gave me time to decide along the way. I had another place to stay, so at times, they had to be patient with me. I asked Roman from Solid Construction for a quote to install a concrete pad for a shed I was having installed and to install concrete patio and walkways around it! Not an easy project due to many elevations to match and a previous stamped, colored patio to match as well. Where and how do I even begin? I still have a smile on my face after having 80% of our home remodeled. They made a dream of mine come true in every sense of the word. If you are trying to figure out which company to hire for any remodel.....then look no further, I truly mean that. We had a totally new kitchen built, new flooring in the whole house, two bedrooms done, new lighting, new electrical, a new rock veneer on the fireplace and last but not least, a bookcase built on one whole wall in the living room. The craftsmanship throughout the house is top notch. It puts to shame what I have seen from other companies. I have never met a more wonderful group of people to be with during a stressful time. Remodel is stressful enough but when done properly by really nice people it made it much easier. After all that was done I have a beautiful house and feel I have made new friends.

We interviewed several contractors prior to starting our WHOLEHOUSE remodel (3K sqft) in Cameron Park, CA (yes, it was a big project for all of us). Upon meeting Roman we were immediately comfortable with him, and really appreciated his design insight and how flexible he was with coming up with ideas for cost savings in some areas, in order to help us get the entire project completed within our budget. We considered hiring a 20K designer/project manager to design us a new kitchen, 3 bathrooms, livingroom/great room, and add a new schoolroom, but after meeting Roman we decided to do the design work ourselves (with Roman's and his crew's help) and put the funds toward the new kitchen :-) We were very involved, and there was much going on for the 4 months (we lived in our travel trailer and garage to stay out of their way, which was our choice), but the end result was SOOO worth it! We got to know the Solid Construction crew very well, and grew to appreciate what a friendly and great crew it is, and especially appreciated their skill/expertise. The windows and doors were installed perfectly (close to 50 total), the woodwork (kitchen and bath cabinets /stair rails) is beautiful, the bathrooms and kitchen tile are amazing, and the new paint in and out was done exactly how we wanted it! Not to mention the entire back wall of our house was removed and redone (to add a 16 X 9 slider and back patio) and along the way the crew alerted us to existing water leaks/dryrot that we were able to address. No project can go perfectly, that is not realistic, but when little challenges came up (sometimes due to us changing our minds!) Roman and Vitaliy (project manager) never got worked up, they stayed calm, and made a plan for how to get the job done. We had a laundry room water valve give out and flood our home while we were out of town, so we were a bit traumatized when we were talking to contractors. Oleg immediately put us at ease. He was very knowledgeable about what we needed (and we needed almost everything!), and I loved that Solid has its own showroom where you pick out most of your finishes. It was so helpful to be able to see countertops, cabinets, tile and flooring together, and Oleg was also there to give advice and guidance. Vitaly was our project manager, and he had great communication and kept everything moving along as efficiently as possible, which was important to us since we were in a rental during construction. Everyone who came in to work on our house was skilled in their trade and willing to answer any questions we had. We had the added complication of having to deal with the insurance company, and Oleg was very patient and cooperative with them throughout the process. Additionally, JCruz in the office was immensely helpful in dealing with paperwork. We wouldn't hesitate to call Solid Construction for future projects, although I hope they will be planned projects! :)

I hired Solid Construction to remodel my master bath including a tub to shower conversion. They came in person to see the "mess", provided design suggestion and a fair price quote. All the workers who came to our home were on time, clean, considerate of my home and pets and cleaned up the job space as they went. I asked about a few additions once the room was shaping up and it never phased them. They accommodated all my requests as if it was no big deal. The job was not completed as anticipated due to shipping delays from manufacturers, which was understandable. I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship Solid provided. This bathroom had been updated once before my moving in and it did not appear to be done with any quality or pride. I love my new bathroom and so do my neighbors when I show it off.

Initially, 'Solid Construction & Design' completed a kitchen remodel for us . The project consisted of the installation of new lighting, cabinetry, granite counter-tops, fixtures, flooring, new paint and finishing touches. The project from start to finish was stress free as 'Solid Construction' handled the entire project that we desired to have done. (We didn't have to go through the process of hiring someone to do the floors, another for the cabinets, another to paint and so on.) Also, we knew we wanted to remodel but were not quite sure about the details of the finished project. We were greatly impressed with the final project; therefore when we moved to our next remodeling project we did not hesitate to contact 'Solid Construction.' Our next planned project will involve the update of our fireplace and mantle. The Solid Construction & Design team did a fabulous job on our kitchen and bath remodel even during the COVID pandemic. In February 2020 we purchased our home, going into this house we knew the kitchen needed a full remodel, cabinets, countertops , lighting, appliances, and flooring etc. Since our kitchen was so very small, we knew walls had to come down. We started the challenging task of looking for a contractor. We had contractors come out to give us an estimate. One Contractor even told us for the work we wanted to do and what we were willing to spend, we were not their customers. Roman and Vitaliy from Solid Construction & Design came out to give us an estimate, we went over everything we wanted to do and assured us it was possible, not once did they make us feel that we were being unrealistic. Roman invited us to their show room, He was very patient and knowledgeable helped us with our design ideas. We decided to go with Solid Construction and Design. We scheduled our date for our renovation to begin. They started as scheduled, walls, ceiling (kitchen had a dropped ceiling), flooring and even a step to our entry was removed. Roman suggested we could replace our single door with a side window to double doors (which I love) that was one of the best decisions we made. To our surprise they kept things tidy for being under construction. Vitaliy was our project Forman and anytime some thing came up or any concerns we had, we called him and he was right on it. He walked us through the entire project, he was very patient and understanding with us. The renovation took 7 weeks to complete as expected. Our kitchen came out so beautiful. I am very pleased with the results. Our friends can't believe the transformation. The two brothers Oleg and Roman owners of Solid Construction & Design and their staff are very friendly & customer oriented. I have recommend them to all my friends and family. I was looking to remodel my kitchen found Solid Construction on the internet and the reviews were positive. However, because reviews are not always accurate I was apprehensive. I contacted them and immediately got a call back, that part of the reviews was correct. JCruz set up not a virtual appt but an actual live appointment with the owner Roman where he took measurements and gave me design recommendations, that part of the reviews correct. They said they would give me an estimate in 3 days, they did as promised. The transparency of the contract was impressive, simple breakdown of projects and costs. The estimate was within my budget!!! However I still needed to see the quality of the cabinets. They were nice mid-range quality. Vitaly was our project manager and was easy to contact and handled any glitches that occurred. I had Solid Construction & Design work on our kitchen and master bathroom remodeling project. They performed all work within the time frame and budget agreed on. We replaced kitchen cabinets and countertops as well as appliances. In the bathrooms we replaced the tub and showers and water lines and installed new tub with a tile surround and replaced all fixtures. Oleg gave us helpful tips on the best way to move walls and the finished look was exactly what we wanted. All flooring replaced as well as light fixtures and added new lighting. Roman and the team at Solid Construction & Design were very great to work with. Their design exceeded our initial expectations on a master bathroom remodel that was a gut job. They made great use of functional space, offered very nice, high quality materials, worked on a very aggressive timeline, and delivered a project that was extremely well done and completed on time at a very reasonable price. Despite the constant in and out and extensive demolition they made a concerted effort to ensure the rest of the house as well as the construction area remained clean which we appreciated. Additionally, on the last day of work, cleaners were brought in to do a final deep cleaning on all impacted areas. Roman kept us informed of everything that was being worked on and would let us know just about every day how things were coming and what would be happening next. Everything was done exactly when we were told it would be done. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for bathroom remodeling work to be done and will likely be using his team for our next project.

We had an amazing experience with Solid Construction & Design. We had multiple bids for our kitchen and bathroom remodel, and SCD was the only group that listened to our needs, saw the uniqueness of our home, and worked to satisfy what we needed within our budget. Oleg presented cost-saving suggestions (we did our own demolition, and we sub-contracted out for granite counters). From the beginning, Oleg was able to see the entirety of the project and was able to present us with a complete quote. He recognized the problems that our house was going to present so surprises were minimized. When there was a new problem with the structure of our house, a reasonable and cost efficient solution was offered. The timeline was organized well through Vitaly's supervision. There were teams for each stage of remodeling, and the scheduling was clean. The team of Alex and Alex did an incredible job of fixing the errors of original construction and continued through to the end of the project for finishing work. Stephan led the installation of the cabinets, and the flooring crew installed @1000 ft^2 in one day. Plumbing and electrical work were incredibly professional. From day one to the end, they maintained the timeline initially presented to us, and even when we found a correction we wanted after we completed payments, Vitaly ensured that work was done. Started a master bath update project. Nothing major, trim and paint work. But I soon discovered the shower pan had been leaking, and the subfloor was a bit rotted. This isn’t my area of expertise, but I knew I was out of my depth. Got some bids, and picked SOLID to replace the rotted subfloor, the shower pan, shower, and the flooring. Wound up being the best decision I made! They searched to find matching tile to the existing enclosure with the tub and countertops. Replaced the plumbing, mixer valve, etc. I could never have done that work, and it looks like it was meant to be that way. We’re really happy with the result! At least now I know where to go if another “project” surprises me. Highly recommended.

Roman at Solid Construction & Design helped us with our kitchen remodeling project. Their company took care our everything from A to Z. They worked on the design, pulled the permits, helped us with the products, ordered materials and did the installation work. We initially found this company online when searching for local kitchen remodeling contractors. We gave them a call and spoke with JCruz we found to be very informative (he knew what he was talking about unlike some of the other companies). He scheduled an appointment for me and my wife next day and for Roman to come out to our house to take measurements of our kitchen and give us an estimate. Roman spent almost 2 hours the first night talking over our ideas and offering several of his own. Within a few days JCruz generated and emailed us a floor plan and several 3D design renderings of what we had discussed along with the bid proposal. It was very detailed and after interviewing several contractors we found their price to be very competitive and chose to move forward with this company. The other companies had ridiculous pricing without any detailed breakdowns on how much our materials and labor actually cost. Shortly, a project manager reached out to us to schedule the inspection. The first week was demo, the 2nd week cabinet installation, 3rd week countertop, sink and backsplash installation. The job went very smoothly and the installation crew was terrific to work with. They were incredibly nice, professional and paid great attention to ALL details. We are very satisfied with our new cabinets, new countertops and other renovation work that was performed and will be recommending this company to our friends and family!
